Last Updated: June 9, 2017 by Drew Kasel
Join us for a Watershed Field Day
9 a.m.- 11 a.m. on June 9, 2017
This is a community event. All ages are welcome and encouraged to come.
Spend the morning exploring Erikson Creek at the Leonard’s property at the corner of Vinger and Yankee Hollow Road in the Town of York, Green County.
Get a closer look at the fish that live in this Class II trout stream when the fish are temporarily shocked by DNR staff. See how volunteers measure water quality as a part of the DNR’s Water Action Volunteer (WAV) program. Take a look at the secret life of bugs that spend part of their lives in the water and find out what those bugs have to say about stream health.
