Message from the SWTU President
A few words of appreciation from SWTU President Matt Sment, including terrific award news for Amy Klusmeier.
Southern Wisconsin Trout Unlimited would not be a thriving conservation community without the dedication and generosity of its members. Without you volunteering your valuable time and expertise to cold water resource stewardship, our stream habitat would fall prey to increasing neglect and exploitation.
Thank you to all of the people and businesses who contributed donations of your time, skills, or prize items for the Icebreaker, and thank you to everyone who attended and supported the event. It is your commitment that shines through in the exceptional results our programs deliver.
Some volunteer’s contributions merit special recognition due to their exceptionally dedicated efforts. Amy Klusmeier has shown consistent excellence in serving the SWTU board and organizing the Icebreaker fundraiser, and as a result, we are happy to announce that she has been awarded the Joan and Lee Wulff Award for Conservation Leadership by the Wisconsin Trout Unlimited State Council. Please join me and the SWTU Board in congratulating her!
